10{Forward Plan} Paddling Pools Cabinet is to consider a report on the paddling pools at Valley Gardens (Harrogate) Bebra Gardens (Knaresborough) and Borrage Green (Ripon). This has become necessary because to operate them as they are will mean that the Council will be running them contrary to current legislation and guidance. The report will examine the current legislation what it means in relation to the three paddling pools and the options available to the Council. Those options will include: upgrading the paddling pools so that they comply with the legislation with rough costings for doing the work; alternative options for providing a 'wet play' facility with rough costings; and the option of closing the paddling pools and removing them.Considered to be a Key Decision because it affects more than one ward as there are three paddling pools each in a different ward.
