5{Forward Plan} North Yorkshire Housing Strategy - 1/10/DCS185 The Local Government North Yorkshire and York Housing Board is due to approve a single North Yorkshire Housing Strategy in March 2010. This will determine the overarching housing priorities for the sub-region and influence external housing investment into the sub-region from 2011 onwards. Approving this document locally is considered to be a key decision as the new Local Government North Yorkshire and York Housing Board has not yet been formally constituted as a Local Authority Joint Committee with decision-making powers and because the new strategy could have a significant effect on local communities within the Harrogate District.
