3{Forward Plan} North Yorkshire Housing Strategy Local Action Plan - 12/10/DCS193 Following approval of the North Yorkshire Housing Strategy and Action Plan by Cabinet in August 2010 a Local Action Plan has been developed which outlines Harrogate District's contribution to the delivery of the approved North Yorkshire Housing Strategy Action Plan. The actions identified in the Local Action Plan will subsequently be incorporated into the annual Housing Service Improvement Plan where their delivery will be monitored. 4{Forward Plan} North Yorkshire Local Investment Agreement with the Homes and Communities Agency - 12/10/DCS194 The Local Government North Yorkshire and York Housing Board is due to sign a Local Investment Agreement with the Homes and Communities Agency early in 2011. This will set out the planned Homes and Communities Agency housing investment across North Yorkshire (excluding City of York) for the period 2011-2014. Under current constitutional arrangements the Local Government North Yorkshire and York Housing Board does not have delegated authority to approve the agreement on behalf of individual local authorities. The report therefore seeks the relevant approval by Harrogate Borough Council. Approving this document is considered to be a key decision because the agreed investment may have a significant effect on local communities within the Harrogate District.
