The Council is running an online survey between 04 Jan 26 – 26 Jan 2026 to seek views and feedback from North Yorkshire businesses and organisations involved in the visitor economy, on the Government’s consultation relating to a potential National Visitor Levy. The results of this survey will be analysed and will form part of the decision report. |
The survey has been publicised to relevant stakeholders via a variety of methods including eg direct email, sector newsletters, social media. It has been distributed by other agencies and partners including the National Park Authorities, via Business North Yorkshire and through other stakeholder groups. We envisage having over 300 responses by the deadline. |
