Interactive Panels including Installation for Schools

PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Authority approves the approach/process for NYES Digital to offer a service to schools to purchase interactive panels and projectors, including their installation via a framework for 3 years from 1^st October 2022.    

BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION

NYES Digital have previously been using another framework since 2016 which is expiring so a flexible solution is required so that schools can receive value for money on their purchase of interactive touch panels and projector systems. The framework also includes on site installation of this equipment and the service is managed by NYES Digital who are a traded service of NYCC, supporting all aspects of ICT in schools.

LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE

This is a compliant route to market and complies with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
