North Yorkshire Hospice Care

1.0       PURPOSE OF REPORT

1.1       To inform and update the Committee on North Yorkshire Hospice Care with regard to funding

            and the provision of end-of-life care.

2.0       BACKGROUND

2.1       The Chief Executives of North Yorkshire Hospice Care, St. Catherine’s Hospice and St. Leonards Hospice expressed an interest in updating the Committee on Hospice Care in

North Yorkshire.

2.2       To discuss and share with the Committee the current service development, need and risk factors affecting end of life providers.

2.3       To share with the Committee the financial schedule covering contract values of core services for the term 2023/24.

3.0	RECOMMENDATION
3.1	The Committee is asked to note the information.
