You are summoned to attend the Meeting of the Parish Council

 

 which will be held on Thursday 23 May 2024 at Back Room of Colburn Village Hall, at 5:30pm The Agenda for the meeting is set out below:

Access to Information Procedures.  Recording of meetings.  Members of the public are allowed to film, make sound recordings and use social media to record all public items on our Agendas, provided that, they provide advance notice to the Chairman by the start of the meeting. 
Filming and recording is overt. Filming and recording is not undertaken in a manner which the Chairman considers to be disruptive or distracting to the good order and conduct of the meeting. Members of the public present also have the right NOT to be filmed or recorded"

1     To Receive apologies and approve reasons for absence.

 

2     To Receive from Councillor’s any declarations of Interest under the Council’s

       Code of Conduct.

       To Grant any request for dispensation as appropriate.

 

3     Open Forum: members of the public have the opportunity to raise matters for  

       consideration by the Council. Time allowed 15 minutes. Members of the public can

       speak on an agenda item when such items are reached, they are expected to raise their

       hand to attract The Chairman’s attention.

    Update on the Planning Application for The Bridge House Hotel ZD24/00184/FULL

    Extension of Unit 7c Yorkshire Dales Distllery Ltd No Observations received.

    Update Avant Homes ZD24/00231/S106. Councillors asked for breakdown.  This is for

    Information only.

    Update Full Planning Permission Motorway Service Area 19/00473/FULL – no further

    Observations since the last time Plan was received by Council.

    ZD24/00231/S106 Councillors had been forwarded the application.

 on facebook last year.

     Parish Finances

 

                                

     To Confirm the Financial Monthly Balance

     To confirm authorisation of bacs payments

 

     To report urgent repair of Parish Laptop (which was still in warranty) Currys informed

     me that a replacement hard drive to the existing motherboard will be carried out, if this 

     fails then a new laptop will be issued.  As a precautionary measure and as I run PAYE on

     it there was a cost for them to copy all the data currently on it at a cost of £100 and £18 for

      a memory stick.
