Air Source Heat Pumps (Leisure Centres) Maintenance Contract

PROPOSED RECOMMENDATION
To establish a new contract for Air Source Heat Pumps (Leisure Centres) Servicing and Maintenance for North Yorkshire Council.
BACKGROUND TO SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION
The previous contract established by North Yorkshire Council is due to expire. The new contract will include provision to provide all relevant servicing and maintenance for Council Leisure Centre properties when the previous contract expires.
A decision will be made to undertake to establish a new contract for these areas of Compliance and Maintenance. It is proposed that the contract will be for a duration of three years with an option to extend for two years. The decision had previously been due to made on the 19th May 2025, however further work had to be undertaken, resulting in a delay to the decision being made.
LEGAL AND GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE
This is a key decision. The proposal was entered on the forward plan in August 2024.
RECOMMENDATION
That the establishment of a new contract for Pool Plant Maintenance be approved.
