The Report of the Pension Board

1.         Pension Board

1.1       The Pension Board met on 23 October 2025.

Present:- David Portlock (Independent Chair), Eddie Brass, (Scheme Member Representative), David Houlgate (Scheme Member Representative), Simon Purcell (Scheme Member Representative), Sam Thompson (Scheme Member Representative),  Emma Barberry (Employer Representative), Andrew Robinson (Employer Representative), Councillor Martin Rowley BEM (Employer Representative) and Councillor Steve Watson (Employer Representative).

Matters of Governance relating to the Pension Board require Council approval as it is the Administering Authority to the North Yorkshire Pension Fund.

2.         Annual Report

2.1       The Pension Board considered, and approved, its Annual Report for the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. A copy of the Annual Report is attached as an Appendix A to this report.

3.         Recommendation

3.1       That the Annual Report of the Pension Board 2024/25 be approved and published
