1.0          Purpose of the report

 

1.1          To provide an annual update to the Committee of the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (NYSCP).

 

 

2.0       Background

 

2.1       The NYSCP Annual Report is presented to the Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee each year, and is attached at Appendix A.

 

2.2       The report outlines how the partnership continues to work in collaboration to safeguard children and young people and support their families through early intervention and prevention.

 

2.3       The partnership continues to be guided but their priorities and the Being Young in North Yorkshire strategy.

 

3.0       Financial implications

 

3.1       There are no significant financial implications arising from this report.

 

4.0       Legal implications

 

4.1       There are no significant legal implications arising from this report.

 

5.0       Equalities implications

 

5.1       The report focuses on vulnerable children and young people.

 

6.0       Climate change implications

7.1        It is recommended that the committee:

 

            a)    notes the report;
