Does the proposal relate to an area where there are known inequalities/probable impacts (for example, disabled people’s access to public transport)? Please give details. |
Neighbourhood area designation is the first steps necessary for the preparation of a neighbourhood plan. This is essentially administrative and there is no obligation for a neighbourhood plan to be prepared or completed. The designation of the area will enable the Qualifying Body (Beadlam and Nawton Parish Councils) to prepare a neighbourhood plan, which has the potential to be of benefit to all residents and visitors to Beadlam and Nawton including those with protected characteristics. |
Will the proposal have a significant effect on how other organisations operate? (for example, partners, funding criteria, etc.). Do any of these organisations support people with protected characteristics? Please explain why you have reached this conclusion. |
