What are you proposing to do?	The proposal is related to a strategy which outlines priorities an approach for delivery of ensuring sufficient placements are in place for children in our care.
Why are you proposing this? What are the desired outcomes?	Ther is a statutory duty under Section 22G of the Children Act 1989 to secure, as far as reasonably practicable, sufficient accommodation for children in care within the local authority area where this is consistent with their welfare. There is also a requirement for the development of a strategy to ensure effective discharge of this duty.
Does the proposal involve a significant commitment or removal of resources? Please give details.	Within the supporting paper there is a request to earmark a funding stream, however there is no specific request for an amount for a defined project within these documents
