To abandon the procurement procedure for the
replacement of a prefabricated classroom unit with traditional
build at Bishop Monkton CE Primary School.
A competitive procurement exercise was
undertaken in January and February 2022. All tender costs returned
were significantly above pre-tender estimate levels. Also, further
drainage design and sewer diversion approvals have not yet been
concluded Given the outcome of the procurement exercise, and the
diversion approvals, the decision has been taken not to proceed to
contact award.
