To extend the current Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Services Contract with Align Property Partners effective from 1st October 2022 to the 31st March 2023.

The Council currently has a consultancy service for property projects and estate services via a contract with Align Property Partners, a wholly owned company established on the 1st November 2016. The current contract uses the NEC3 Professional Services Contract and runs until 30th September 2022, with option to extend clauses within the contact. Following a Gateway review of the options, the Council’s Property Services extended the current contract up until the 30th September 2022, with an option to extend for further 6-months. This decision record covers the extension for the further 6-months until 31st March 2023, while a review of the contract terms and working arrangements to establish a new contract is concluded. This will enable a new more practical contract to be developed that will be better suited to the contractual and working relationships between the two parties.
