Within the forthcoming public Hearing the
Authority is to take a neutral stance towards the amendment
proposed by the Planning Inspectorate.
The Planning Inspectorate Inspector has
proposed amendments to the Definitive Map Modification Order that
the Authority is neither totally supportive of the proposed
amendment nor is it opposed to the amendment therefore taking a
neutral stance within the forthcoming public Hearing is
justifiable.
The alternative options were to oppose the
proposed amendments or to be positively supportive of the proposed
amendments. Neither option seemed reasonable as the relevant
evidence is not compelling either way.
