To authorise Caedmon College Whitby and the County Council to accept the grant offer from the Department for Education North Yorkshire Coast Opportunities Area funding.

Caedmon College Whitby are developing their Sixth Form provision to enhance the existing provision at the school. The Department for Education North Yorkshire Coast Opportunities Area Board have made a joint grant offer to North Yorkshire County Council and Caedmon College Whitby for a maximum payment of £250,000. The scheme is being led by the school, and is supported by North Yorkshire County Council.

Acceptance of the grant is supported by the support from the Assistant Chief Executive – Legal and Democratic Services, Corporate Director – Strategic Resources and Corporate Director – Children and Young People’s Service.
