To award a construction contract for the expansion of Sherburn Hungate Primary School.

A proposal for the expansion and provision of additional school places at Sherburn Hungate Primary School was approved by the Executive at its meetings on 30th September 2014 and 24th July 2018. A scheme has been developed and a compliant procurement exercise has been undertaken for the construction works. The Authority is now at the stage of contract award. It is proposed that the works should commence Summer 2020 and all phases will be complete by Easter 2021. (note date of commencement will be subject to review in light of the COVID-19 status).
