To satisfy operational needs of Ryedale District Council and
generate an income for North Yorkshire County Council that enables
both authorities to deliver, in partnership, the best overall
solution for residents.
Use of Seamer Carr Waste Transfer Station for
waste collected by Ryedale District Council. This was rejected
because, although it represented a saving for North Yorkshire
County Council, it meant an increase in costs for Ryedale District
Council and an overall increase in costs for residents.
