That David Bowe, Corporate Director Business and Environmental Services, is to be removed as a director of Align Property Partners Limited with effect from 30th October 2020 following his retirement and his successor, Karl Battersby, be appointed as a director of Align Property Partners Limited with effect from 2nd November 2020.

Due to the company being a “teckal” compliant company, the Council requires control over the company, which is partly exercised through having Council officers as directors of the company. As David Bowe, current Corporate Director Business and Environmental Service, is retiring it is necessary to replace him with a suitable Council director. Karl Battersby is joining the Council as the Corporate Director Business and Environmental Services with effect from 2nd November 2020 It is usual for the Corporate Director Business and Environmental Services to be a director of this company.
