The Corporate Director, Strategic Resources
has approved the decision to undertake a further competition via an
existing Framework Agreement for the provision of pre-packaged
sandwiches and other lunch-to-go items for schools.
The value of the contract is estimated to be between £700,000 and £1,400,000 dependent upon whether the contract is extended after the initial term of 1 year.
The duration of the contract is estimated to be for a period of up to 2 years.

To enable the Authority to comply with the requirements of Natasha’s Law when it is introduced in October 2021. The law will require all food businesses to include full ingredients labelling on pre-packed for direct sale foods.
