Reasons for the decision:

*PLEASE NOTE This decision was originally published on or near the date of the decision and so call in no longer applies. It has been re-published as part of the change in committee management system that we use.*

On 18 March 2014 the Council’s Executive agreed the principle of awarding relevant contracts for future waste services to Yorwaste without competitive procurement, where Regulation 12 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 was satisfied.
This is the latest decision in this process and caters for both the expiry of existing contracts on 31 March 2017 and the transition to treatment services being delivered at Allerton Waste Recovery Park during 2017-18 financial year.
