To allow a Discretionary Top Up Grant of
£43,570.00 to enable a ground floor extension to provide a
separate bedroom for a disabled child. Total value of the
adaptations will be over £50K with the mandatory and
discretionary funding in place.
Further to a Consultation carried out with the
Disabled Adaptations Advisory Group on 18/12/2025 it was agreed
that these works were required to enable the provision of an
additional bedroom.
Due to the constraints of the property this is
the most effective option.
