Decision:

It was agreed that:

i. Up to £500K per annum is allocated for 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 for major scheme development and traffic model updates/renewals

ii. Up to £100K per annum is allocated for 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 to implement schemes to address Air Quality Management Areas across the county.

iii. Up to £100K per annum is allocated for 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 towards sustainable transport initiatives.

iv. Feedback is provided to Harrogate and Scarborough Borough Councils on their proposals in accordance with the Deeds of Arrangement governing the CPE operation and Scarborough Borough Council are advised of the intention to look into possible improvements to Seamer station which has the potential to increase rail patronage and mitigate some of the issues on the A64.

v. An annual report is presented to Members detailing spend against the Civil Parking Enforcement general working balance.
