*Re-published: call-in no longer applies* BILTON LANE, HARROGATE – CONSIDERATION OF OBJECTIONS TO PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS

Decision Maker: Corporate Director of Business and Environmental Services

Decision status: For Determination

Is Key decision?: No

Is subject to call in?: No

Decision:

To implement the proposals contained in Appendix B under the delegated authority of the Corporate Director – Business and Environmental Services is noted.

That the Assistant Chief Executive (Legal and Democratic Services) be authorised to make and seal the relevant Traffic Regulation Orders to give effect to the various locations identified in Appendix B, subject to the amendments and recommendations approved by the Executive Members (BES) and the Corporate Director (BES) in light of the objections received.

That the restrictions on Bilton Lane be implemented as proposed and in light of Councillor Haslam’s comments that officers continue to monitor the situation.

Reasons for the decision:

*PLEASE NOTE This decision was originally published on or near the date of the decision and so call in no longer applies. It has been re-published as part of the change in committee management system that we use.*

It is considered that the introduction of additional waiting restrictions to reduce accident potential, regulate parking arrangements and maintain through traffic will benefit a wide group of road users and that additional, recently installed signage improvements deal with a number of the concerns raised in objections brought forward.
