Approval from the Corporate Director Community Development, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer (sub-delegated to the Assistant Director - Resources) to the submission of the grant application for £14,700 to the Arts Council England and note that match funding in the form of staff time is required from the Council.

The grant will support communities in North Yorkshire to winter better through access to light therapy lamps and wellbeing information. The project will contribute to the Council’s Warm and Welcome winter campaign and will position libraries as a place to find high quality free support year round.

Not to apply for the funding, but this was discounted as this project is an additional way to support our communities. In the absence of funding NYC would be unable to deliver this project.
