Procure a contract for the replacement of
Cayton Carr Culvert under NEC4 Short contract on the CECF 2026
Civils Lot One Framework. Evaluation of Tender will be on a price
only basis.
The culvert needs significant maintenance and
will continue to suffer degradation in its current form. A
replacement is a more cost effective solution, with a futureproofed
design. The aim is to install a new structure that will require
significantly less maintenance in the future.
Undertake maintenance of the existing
structure, the cost of which would be bordering on the total costs
for a replacement. More cost effective to replace. This will
require lower costs for any small future maintenance.
