The Corporate Director Resources sub delegated to Assistant Director Resources authorises the acceptance of the Grant Funding in the sum of £223,000 from the City of York Council, from the Carbon Negative Challenge Fund, to deliver the Retrofit Energy Efficiency and Indoor Air Quality Demonstrator Project.

Reasons for the decision:

The council is working collaboratively to understand the impact of retrofit measures on indoor air quality. This research will alleviate any unintended consequences of retrofit.

Alternative options considered:

There is the option not to accept the funding but this would mean the aims of the project could not be completed.
