The Corporate Director of Environment in consultation with the Corporate Director of Community Development and Assistant Director Resources agrees to the submission of expressions of interests for the Fisheries and Seafood Scheme.
Submitting an expression of interest will ensure the Council retains the opportunity to progress to a full application and secure funding, should the proposal be supported.
The alternative of not submitting an expression of interest was considered This was rejected as it removed the opportunity to discuss project proposals with the Marine Management Organisation and ultimately recommended projects to full application.
