Approval to make the experimental Traffic Regulation Order permanent

To avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, and

to facilitate the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians), or on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).

Due to the size and scope required, the County Council does not currently have the funds to implement a Controlled Parking Zone scheme. At the community meeting, it became clear that not all local residents would be willing to contribute financially. Due to the size and scope of the scheme, it would need to cover many streets. At this present time, it is unlikely that this location would secure the necessary funding to create a new Controlled Parking Zone.
