Decision:

Approval of fee increases to care homes, based on the formula agreed by the Executive Member in 2016. This applies to placements between 2017 and 2021.
Based on the formula agreed the fee uplifts for residential and nursing care homes have been agreed as follows:
Residential: £579.04
Nursing: £572.39
An hourly rate increase for domiciliary care providers of 60p per hour.
A 3% increase for community-based services.

Reasons for the decision:

The fee uplift is an annual increase.
Consultation has taken place with providers through the Independent Care Group (ICG) and an agreed way forward is set out in the report
