Decision:

To amalgamate Moorside Infant School and Moorside Junior School in Ripon to create a single 3-11 Primary School on the junior school site on 29 April 2019.

To create satellite specialist provision from Mowbray School on the Moorside Infant School site from 1 January 2020.

Reasons for the decision:

The Executive agreed on 27 November 2019 to the publication of statutory proposals to amalgamate Moorside Infant School and Moorside Junior School in Ripon to create a single 3-11 Primary School on the Junior School site, and to create satellite specialist provision from Mowbray School on the Moorside Infant School site.

Statutory notices were published on 11 January 2019 for a period of four weeks until 8 February 2019 and within that time no representations were received regarding the proposals.
