Advice Contract for an additional 12 months.

All existing contract extensions have been fully utilised, which is
why approval is required to extend for an additional year. Both
NYCC Legal and Procurement are fully in agreement with the proposed
approach. A Gateway 4 document has been submitted and approved
(signed off by PAB on 24/07/2020).
This will allow the voluntary sector time to recover from the
impacts of the COVID pandemic and be in a position to work with us
to co-produce a new model of carer support and for providers to be
in the best position to effectively bid on any future
re-procurement. This will also allow time for internal service
reviews to recommence following the easing of COVID-19 impacts and
restrictions.
