*Re-published: call-in no longer applies* Independent Health Complaints and Advocacy Service - extension of contract

Decision Maker: Corporate Director of Strategic Resources

Decision status: Recommendations Approved

Is Key decision?: Yes

Is subject to call in?: No

Decision:

The extension of the existing contract for the Independent Health Complaints and Advocacy Service for a period of 12 months through to 31 March 2022 to ensure that this statutory service can continue to be delivered.

Reasons for the decision:

*PLEASE NOTE This decision was originally published on or near the date of the decision and so call in no longer applies. It has been re-published as part of the change in committee management system that we use.*

The current provider is performing well, all contract and performance measures have been met and the contract is demonstrating good value for money. Any re-procurement at this point would cause considerable disruption to the statutory service provided.

The current contract with Cloverleaf Advocacy is from 1 April 2017 and will end 31 March 2021. The contract is for the delivery of a statutory (Health and Social Care Act 2012) independent health complaints and advocacy service.
