Exclusion of the press and public To consider passing a resolution under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 excluding the press and public from the meeting during consideration of item 6 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.
Minutes: Decision
That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public were excluded from the meeting during consideration of the item of business at minute no 6 on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act as the Panel was satisfied that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information.

Review of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver Licence To receive a report from the Corporate Director of Environment.
Minutes: The Sub Committee considered the report of the Corporate Director – Environment to suspend, revoke or take no action following a review of a hackney carriage and private hire driver licence.
The Sub Committee heard from the Senior Licensing Officer, the applicant and the applicant’s employer.
Decision
The Sub Committee agreed that no action be taken but that a final written warning be issued to the applicant regarding their conduct and adherence to licensing conditions and the warning to remain on file for 12 months.
