·         at this point in the meeting if their questions/statements relate to matters which are not otherwise on the Agenda (subject to an overall time limit of 30 minutes);

·         when the relevant Agenda item is being considered if they wish to speak on a matter which is on the Agenda for this meeting.

Recommendations

The Shareholder Committee are requested to:

i.              Note the report and the Brierley Group Q1 Financial Performance for the 2026/27 year.

ii.             Approve the Written Resolution at Appendix B for the payment of a final dividend of £500,000 by Align Property Partners Limited to North Yorkshire Council.

iii.            Approve the Written Resolution at Appendix C for the payment of a final dividend of £500,000 by Align Property Services Limited to North Yorkshire Council.

iv.           Authorise the Chief Executive (as Shareholder Representative) to sign the Written Resolutions and any other relevant shareholder resolutions relating to this dividend.

Recommendation

To confirm NY Highways Limited’s decision to award a contract to Econ Engineering Limited for the procurement of vehicles required for the winter maintenance of the road network within North Yorkshire.

Any other items which the Chair agrees should be considered as a matter of urgency because of special circumstances
