Purpose:

To seek approval for the procurement of mobile voice and data services.

Decision:

The Authority awards the contract for Mobile Voice & Data to Virgin Media Business for a 36 month period commencing October 2021.

Reasons for the decision:

Following a desktop evaluation of service offers available on the Crown Commercial Services Framework RM3808 Network Services, Lot 6 we are able to Direct Award to our chosen supplier.

It was decided that the most economically advantageous offer was the one from our existing supplier, Virgin Media Business.

Alternative options considered:

Alternative options were to extend existing agreement which was deemed not a compliant option. Further competition via the Crown Commercial Services Framework RM3808 Network Services, Lot 6 could have been an option if Direct Award was not viable.
