To agree acceptance of funding from Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and to enter into funding agreements with third party grant recipients - to be identified

Executive Member for Open to Business, in consultation with the Corporate Director – Business and Environmental Services authorised the Corporate Director, Strategic Resources to accept the funding of £768,876 from the MHCLG and to enter into funding agreements with third party grant recipients.

To allow acceptance of funding from the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities which will be used to fund the York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership project ‘Delivering a carbon-negative energy system in North Yorkshire.’

The Community Renewal Fund is a single round of government revenue funding which requires no match funding on behalf of the applicant and there is no similar alternative means of funding and delivering this project.
