To agree the preferred options to progress based on the outcomes from the Upper Dales Feasibility Studies
Decision:
That work will progress towards the delivery of the preferred options detailed and assessed in the report, selected from the wider measures identified in the Upper Dales feasibility studies.
The use of up to £50k from the Flood Risk Management Base Budget to permit further detailed work in the development of the preferred options over Q4 2021/22 and into financial year 2022/23.
Reasons for the decision:
To permit the progression of those options identified through the criteria as most suitable for delivery.
Alternative options considered:
The full long list of options included as an Appendix to the report were all considered. Those options taken forward were those assessed as the most suitable for progression, with the same criteria utilised across all measures.
