Following a mini-competition under the
National LGPS Framework for Investment Consultancy Services, a
decision has been taken to award a contract for investment
consultancy services for North Yorkshire Pension Fund to Aon, for 7
years commencing on 8th October 2021 for an initial term of 5
years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years to 7th
October 2028 for £714K.
To provide the North Yorkshire Pension Fund
with the investment advice it requires. There is a legal
requirement for a local authority Pension Fund to receive
professional investment advice.
As the procurement was conducted through a
framework designed specifically for this purpose, no other options
were considered.
