Purpose:

To approve schemes that will be delivered through the 2022/23 highways maintenance capital programme.

Decision:

The indicative headline structural highways maintenance capital allocations based on current planning assumptions agreed and grant approval to carry out the relevant procurement processes; and

approval of two additional schemes to the Highways Capital Forward Programme for Structural Highway maintenance identified since the last Highways Capital Programme report dated 20 August 2021:
i) repairs to damaged culvert on Goose Track Lane – Ryedale
ii) repairs to damaged culvert headwall on Fulham Lane, Selby

Reasons for the decision:

To enable preparation work for the 23/24 Annual Programme to commence; authorise the required procurement activities associated with scheme design and delivery to take place and agree the additional schemes to be added to the Highways Capital Forward Programme and subsequently the 22/23 annual programme.
