Purpose:
To seek approval from the Corporate Director
of Strategic Resources for the procurement of Interactive Panels,
including installation for Schools
Decision:
The Authority approves the approach/process
for NYES Digital to offer a service to schools to purchase
interactive panels and projectors, including their installation via
a framework for 3 years from 1st October 2022.
Reasons for the decision:
Using a framework gives schools access to a
large number of suppliers allowing flexibility and best value each
time. The provider and NYES can manage the procurement process on
behalf of the schools
Alternative options considered:
1) One option considered was to remain with
the existing framework but this is expiring and not being
replaced.
2) An alternative framework was considered but it is a lot more of
an admin burden for the NYES Digital team and was therefore
rejected.
