Approval to submit a bid to the Home Upgrade
Grant: Phase 2’
Decision:
That submission of the Homes Upgrade Grant 2
bid by the 18th November deadline, be approved
That authority be delegated to the Corporate Director of Strategic
Resources regarding the final draft of the bid document.
Reasons for the decision:
To ensure that North Yorkshire County Council
acts as the accountable body for the consortium of Local
Authorities that from April 2023 will become North Yorkshire
Council, and that North Yorkshire Council is able to deliver a
programme of housing energy efficiency upgrades throughout eligible
properties to meet climate change, public health and housing policy
objectives.

1 Do not apply – rejected in order to
meet policy objectives
2 Apply to January 2023 deadline – rejected on advice of
BEIS
