To vary the existing contract with CFH Docmail Ltd for election printing services to include the production of the ‘candidates address booklet’ required to be produced by the Combined Area Returning Officer for the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayoral Election due on 02 May 2024.

Richard Flinton (North Yorkshire Council) has been appointed as the Combined Area Returning Officer (CARO) and must print and despatch the booklet as part of their CARO responsibilities. The variation of the existing contract will allow for the candidate and address booklets to be printed and despatched for the 2024 York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayoral Election. The existing contract covers other printing and dispatching requirements for the 2024 Mayoral Election.

The variation of the existing contract was considered the most suitable option for the candidate address booklets to be produced in readiness for the 2024 Mayoral Election. The existing contract covers similar services in respect of producing election materials, including for the 2024 Mayoral Election.
