Standard Fuel Oils through the CCS National Fuels 2: RM6177 Framework Lot 106 the following Products:
• Diesel
• Heating Oil Substitute: BS 2869

WFL UK Ltd. through the CCS National Fuels 2: RM6177 Framework Lot 106 the following Products:
• Adblue

BWOC Ltd. through the CCS National Fuels 2: RM6177 Framework Lot 106 the following Products:
• Kerosene
• Gas Oil Class D

A decision was made to undertake a procurement exercise for the supply of Liquid Fuels (Heating and Fleet) for corporate sites and fleet, including school & academy portfolios of North Yorkshire Council from the 1st April 2024, the majority of sites in relation to heating being schools. The replacement contract will include the former NYCC sites that use Liquid Fuels and the sites from the former seven boroughs and districts which will be brought into the new contract as their existing contracts end.

The intention to procure was entered onto the forward plan in November 2022 and the decision to procure was made on the 22nd August 2023, with the procurement being a key decision.

The procurement exercise was undertaken by the Council’s Procurement and Contract Management Service September 2023 to March 2024.

Each contract awarded will be for a duration of two years with options to extend for a further two – one-year periods (resulting in a maximum contract period of four years).
