To accept the recommendation by Councillor Bob Packham to award £1,000 of his Locality Budgets funding to fund the purchase of team uniforms for the World Karate and Kickboxing Championships in Frankfurt for We Are Sherburn.
Cllr Packham’s wife re is a board member of We Are Sherburn, a voluntary role which follows on from the fact that she is Chair of the Sherburn and Villages Community Trust. Another Board Member of We Are Sherburn will administer the grant.
The funding will support this specific project recommended by Councillor Packham which directly promotes the social, economic, or environmental wellbeing of the communities within the Division he represents.
