To undertake a procurement exercise to establish a new contract for Hard Facilities Management Chimneys, Lightning Conductors, and other High Access Structures: Inspections and Maintenance for North Yorkshire Council.

A decision has been made to undertake a procurement exercise to establish a new contract for the Hard Facilities Management Chimneys, Lightning Conductors, and other High Access Structures: Inspections and Maintenance, as the contracts established by the former County Council for this are due to expire. The new contract will also include provision to provide all relevant servicing and maintenance for additional Council properties as other contract arrangements expire, as well as provision for Property’s Traded Service Property Solutions Clients.

The procurement will commence early in 2025 with a view to having a new contract in place for the 1st September 2025. It is proposed that the new contract will be for a duration of three years with options to extend for a further four years (resulting in a maximum contract period of seven years).
