The contents of the report are noted and the engagement of key stakeholders on the Knaresborough Cycle Network prioritisation outcomes and collect views on the emerging priorities is approved.

The Local Walking and Cycling Infrastructure Plans (LCWIP) guidance suggests that stage five of the process should be shared with relevant stakeholders and time should be taken to collect the views of parties who may be interested or impacted, with the opportunity given for people to express their views.

Officers considered using consultants to complete the stage five work but decided to use the expertise available in house to avoid any further consultant charges on the Harrogate Cycling infrastructure Plan (HCIP) work.
