That £94,835 is awarded from the Community Housing Fund to the Craven Community Land Trust for the acquisition and associated costs of 2 properties on Stackhouse Lane, Giggleswick.

Reasons for the decision:

To support Community led housing and increase the supply of affordable homes in National Parks.

Alternative options considered:

The alternative option considered was not to approve the grant, however this would limit the supply of much needed homes and as such this option was rejected. The homes could not be delivered without grant funding.
