To allow a Non-Means Tested (NMT) Grant to replace a hot water cylinder with a larger tank as the existing one provides insufficient hot water to fill a specialist bath. To allow the Housing Association who own the property to undertake the works so as not to invalidate the warranty
of the Air Source Heat Pump Heating System.
The existing hot water cylinder installed with the specialist bath in August 2024 is insufficient
for the size and capacity of the bath. To enable the adaptation and the provision of bathing facilities by the disabled person a larger cylinder of 210L is required
Require an alternative contractor to undertake the work and invalidate the warranty for the heating system. Leave the existing cylinder and prevent the use of the specialist by bath.
