Award of contract for the A171 Scalby
Road/A170 Falsgrave Road junction improvement to Fox (Owmby)
Ltd.
Fox (Owmby) Ltd was selected from two bids
received. The contract is a NEC4 Engineering and Construction
Contract June 2017 (with amendments January 2019). Fox (Owmby) Ltd
recently carried out a similar scheme at the A171 Scalby
Road/Stepney Drive junction (near Scarborough Hospital) for NYCC
Area 3 and the performance was very good and the scheme was
completed on time.
